This small Sony camcorder - HDRCX130EB - has everything a big one. The quality is perfect and you can film up in full HD in 50p. With this quality however, it is not possible to take pictures in parallel, it will lower the resolution. As for photos, it will serve as an extra camera but this remains primarily a camcorder. In terms of use, nothing more simple, you open screen and ... on film. The screen is bright enough even in daylight. In terms of the configuration, a simple but comprehensive settings menu is accessed by touch via the screen. Only defect of this touchscreen mode, fingerprints on the screen. SONY provides no carry case in the box and the battery supplied as standard allows filming for nearly two hours continuously, maybe a bit tight for sure. Finally, do not forget to buy an extra memory card, because it does not include HDRCX130EB of internal memory. It is quite cheaper way to get a card (SD or other SONY specific format) at Amazon but to turn to the upper HDRCX160 model that is completely identical in performance if not an integrated internal memory .
