The first generation of replacement batteries for the Olympus OM-D EM-5 could not be loaded in the genuine Olympus loaders and require a separate charger. That's when the current battery no longer the case - they are properly "swallowed" by the Olympus-loader. When I unpacked the batteries, first grabbed me slight doubt - anywhere - neither on the battery itself or the packaging - Reference is made to the chip version, but the behavior of the Olympus-loader removed all doubt in an instant. Even after the first few times I can only confirm: runtime, capacity and charging behavior correspond to the outrageously expensive original. Now there is at last full BLN1 Clones for a reasonable price for the great Olympus OM-D.
The Ex-Pro charger I have, incidentally, ordered anyway. It is compact, comes with car socket and universal outlet adapters and therefore has a perfect location and travel companion.
