My Vorrezensent has indeed addressed the main points. But the picture quality is a bit short in my opinion. Therefore here a subjective impression of me the image quality of the X20:
First my particularly good display noticed on the pictures taken were already shown in great detail. The monitor then the literally breathtaking! I have really been holding his breath at the sight of the first images. So I was overwhelmed. The images seemed even very plastic in which today streaky weather and extremely many details. Neither the OM-D with a Panasonic 20mm fixed focal length of an earlier Nikon D7000 with the 16-85 good could generate this feeling in me and abgewinnen me such a smile. I am pleasantly surprised by the lens and the new sensor. Both seem to fit together wonderfully. Bravo Fuji!
I'm not a Pixelpeeper. And of course, the shadow is where a lot of light. At maximum aperture and 28mm focal length I could on metallic surfaces Cromatische aberration view, which does not bother me special. Mir is important that the image effect is overall consistency. And it is definitely.
At very high ISO values from 3200 yellow stains mingled with me with energy-saving bulb lighting on actually white walls. but this is already an ISO range that you should avoid using such cameras - especially when illuminated with low-cost energy-saving lamps. But I will continue to monitor that. Up to ISO 1600, the images me are very well usable. What has me a bit puzzled but is that the high ISO capability already approach comes pretty close to the Olympus OMD with kit lens. The kit lens of OMD is not particular strong light and the ISO values were there even higher. But the noise was no longer to distinguish the images from both cameras - yes because I still pondering about it!
Something that had previously impressed me at all photos from Fuji cameras is the Fuji-typical coloration. She's special, unconventional and unique compared to all other manufacturers. This may sound a bit eccentric. But I like it stop. The X20 makes here no exception. Unfortunately the weather is not so far and so I could not entered the motives capture evidencing.
What I also like very well, the free garaging is because the sensor with 2/3 inch is quite large. This is possible in all focal areas, if one approaches close to the object. The Hinterhrund is nice pleasant blurred (see photos in the gallery). Only the Olympus XZ2 appears in this class still to be a bit stronger.
The first day was for me as a quality-spoiled entusiast with the X20 before a real pleasure. The small offers so much - much more than I expected. I'm now just worried that I could probably do without an additional MFT body and can save a lot of money. So I had not really imagined.
