My Archos 101 has the problem that its supplied charger has a loose connector contact. So I started looking for a replacement or second unit, which should be suitable for travel and not only the tablet but also Samsung mobile phone, Sony eBook readers, Sandisk mp3 players, etc. invites via Micro USB. None of these devices has been complaining about slow loading or the like.
I have had many power supplies tried (most without directly connected cable) the advertised with 2.1A or more. But they were never able to really make the promised charging current also available, which is probably due to the lack of compliance with the USB standard for charging mobile devices.
