Logitech G35 PC Gaming Headset

Headset plug in and the software from Logitech has recognized it immediately.
Unfortunately Then came the less beautiful part (which is why there is a point deduction).

My buddy and I have 2 hours trying to adjust the headset so that it works without causing any headaches.
With only the surround sound (or better "pseudo" induced Surround Sound) has sounded terrible. Very bright and voices were very unnätürlich. So turned off and from then tried without surround sound.

We have all Windows and Logitech software tries functions reasonably should get a decent sound. Unfortunately, that was not successful. Time the sound was just right side, sometimes to music has terribly belongs creaky.

Solution:

The final was now that we even the Windows internal driver new of Windows have made search. Lo and behold! It worked. Windows has probably now and then some problems with headsets and drivers.

Then we still have a bit tinkered on Windows and there was a comfortable listening experience.

For the headset can not unfortunately, but still 0.5 points deduction here.

The remaining 0.5 points from there, unfortunately for adjustment of the headband. I stored my headset on a holder hanging when not in use. When coupling and uncoupling, it happens that the headband further slip out, as adjusted by me. Therefore, each time before touched down, set the correct level again and carefully fit to not switch back.

Comfort / feel:

+ Sits the headset once on the head, it has a very pleasant feel. I can wear for hours without it head or ear pain to get.
+ The extra pillow intended useful, I have to leave it at the pre-applied and thus get along well.
+ The feel is quality. The headband feel very smooth. The padding is smooth and soft. There are no edges where I could hurt me (if there were, I would have already found ..).
+ The cable is stoffumwickelt and feels very sturdy. It is slightly thicker than for example at the Mouse G600. Unfortunately, the cable is supplied rolled up, with the result that the cable ripples suggests that probably never go out.
° It is soundproof, so as really tight! I sometimes listen to my apartment doorbell effort.
- The headset is designed so that you simply can not jam times an earpiece behind one ear, if you want to hear something different. It is a bit uncomfortable for me.
- A negative point, the switches on the left side. I have not used, so it's not important for me. But as I ever want to have to fiddle off the headset to set it back to level, I'm very happy to serve up these keys.

Software:

+ As mentioned above, the software finds the headset immediately.
+ You can see the G-keys on the left side if you want to assign any individual to play. Cute gimmick, but not for me. Some of my friends use the buttons for specific TS3 features such as tab-switches and associated microphone activation.
° Stimmenmorphen ... yes you can, but from the age I am definitely out where you people in VoIP programs so toddles. Therefore, a neutral point here.

Other:
+ The little red light (the mute) on vocals can be clearly seen from the corner of my eye.
+ If you want, you can set via software whether to enable or disable sound when you want to play.
(The "flipping the muting" I use not function)
+ The microphone can be as usual Logitech individually.

All in all I'm very happy with the headset when I get out expect to start with.
I can only recommend the headset!
