Here is my original review:
Early problems:
The old battery had apparently died after about 3 years of overcharging, and had arched itself. The supplied battery is apparently not original, but was very low and apparently fit well into the Desire.
At first there was great difficulty in charging. The loading mechanism had to be recalibrated, I'm the guide here [...] (several times) followed. Unfortunately, the phone has always spontaneously shut down by itself. This was especially the case when it was carried around in a jacket or pants pocket, but happened even if it lay untouched.
The Solution:
The reason for this may be poorer (or other) fit the contacts or the external dimensions, which match those of the original battery exactly not to hundredths of a millimeter. A few days ago, I finally caught a small piece of plastic on the opposite side of the contacts. Hurrah! Since then no shutdown!
The same procedure with a HTC Sensation example here: [...]
Conclusion (about 6 weeks after purchase):
The mobile phone has persevered with one battery charge more than 5 days, however, used very little for a couple of SMS and calls. This is due partly to the highly recommended Power Saving Apps "screen off internet off" and "Timeriffic". With the latter, I turn on airplane mode at night.
Meanwhile, I am very pleased by this battery, but it has made me almost despair at the phone.
======== UPDATE (about 3 months after purchase): devaluation on 1 point ==================
Unfortunately, the behavior of my Desires became increasingly unstable again, ie it shuts down for no apparent reason. Nothing helped, not even to reset to factory settings, and deletes all data. An acquaintance, who also still has a desire, then swapped times with me the battery, and once he had the same problems. Now I have a new battery in original blister packaging (not ordered from Amazon), and the mobile phone has since been running perfectly.
