What happened?
Inspired by the many positive reviews I settled entice two years ago to buy this cleaner - a double mistake, as it turned out.
In the beginning was (as so often) all the best: handy, decent pressure sometimes to entmosen stones and just KÄRCHER.
However, after the first season was already not so funny, because the device no more pressure built, but the water gave cheerfully through the pump housing to the environment. The cleaner was used before about three times. So still looked like new!
Life unit # 1: 3 Cleaning operations (1 season)!
Well, can happen even once, perhaps a Monday device, I told myself. For Kärcher called packed device and sent back. After a few days then came the replacement. Worked really smoothly.
Last year the new high pressure washer was then used exactly once to clean the driveway and terrace included really had to do this a lot. In order not to overload the little guy, I did not begrudge him his occasional respites.
Today I then raised him up from hibernation to perform a thorough cleaning with my bikes. Operating time:. Bicycle No. 1 about 10-15 minutes at the end, I already noticed a strange smell. Then the bike wiped dry, and then bike no. 2 with the cleaner moved to the body. After one minute, the usual good cleaning performance, however, came only a thin jet from the nozzle; and there was this weird smell again. After repeated switching on the pump noticeably tormented, but it remained in the jet, which was suitable for a maximum casting flowers. So off to the thing to get to the bottom times, but because of the yellow rifle emerged literally been a small puff of smoke.
Life unit # 2: 1.5 cleaning operations!
So off with Monday device, but has the cause system!
Of course, one always gets what you pay for, but not even 2 cleaning inserts for a new appliance? That's a No!
Anyway, I'm through with Kärcher and can only say: hands off!
PS: Who now still carries himself with the thought, to buy this device anyway, which should also once put a look at the 'inner values': For what so full-bodied means N-Cor pump in marketing speech at Kärcher, nothing more as a nice way of saying 'Plastic pump'! And this cheap stuff lies not only in the smallest version, but also in the higher price and performance!
