I could not believe it, have the printer bought extra due to the low cost of printing and large ink cartridges. Use the printer now have about 1.5 years. Namely Now I've even transparent cartridges with chip anxious to track ink usage times which seemed surprisingly high. I have the cartridge filled to the brim, used, the printer has started the cartridges un recognized immediately. Of course you will still enslaved with warnings that only original ink (more expensive than the printer itself, of course) was good, but that was not me in the test. I have two printhead cleanings performed to test and see there a good 15% of the total color ink was subsequently disappeared, rather even 20%. This also explains why someone who has only black printed much color loses with this device. Never has sucked so much ink without having even a single page printed so with me a printer. Who one year 3-5 printhead cleaning has can equal order new ink cartridges. For normal home use useless. The bill is likely to be different if you print 1,000 pages a day without interruption. Who does not do that just leave it alone. In retrospect, the most expensive printer (with ink), I've ever had. Some already are writing this so Amazon, but in the official tests to read always as cheap printing with this printer. This is true but probably only to companies to which hunt by 1,000 pages each day.
