As far as one can tell as a layman only the odor sample, the synthetic leather of good quality seems to be. It smells definitely not for plasticizers or other chemicals. It looks visually very good, not artificial. It can be easily processed because stretchable. It has good strength. Did not feel that it breaks during processing. However, some are beaten by a few of my brackets Elektrotackers. Probably too much power. By folding the artificial leather are achieved double thickness so that the clamps hold the material well.
