The leather strap is padded very soft and good indeed.
The build quality is quite wertig, although not a "high end", but that you would expect in this price range also not necessarily.
The assembly of the hand strap was initially impossible because one of the two straps (the thinner) had moved the wrong way.
It took some time, until I realized that - something like that should not happen. I almost returned the item, until I came on it.
The guidance / imaging on the packaging is really bad and leaves a lot of room for improvement. The internet research brought but then one or another video of the day, which illustrated the handling. But there were also videos in which the wrist strap was applied incorrectly. Apparently, the function / operation is somewhat unclear.
For the "incorrect assembly" and the lack of a clever guidance / imaging there 2 points deduction.
I now come to practical application:
I have currently not yet the right compromise between "sits nicely firm and secure" and "the camera remains operable" found.
The strap attached to a Nikon D5200, when now some buttons are "right" settled. These are but to achieve in setting tighter the loop barely, without bending the fingers. I have medium-sized hands - for someone with real "paws" is the loop (on a Nikon 5200) certainly nothing!
Looking through the loop a little further, is (to me) the seat to "baggy"
But I have yet to figure out a practical test, if I can find a compromise in the loop length.
I will then complete this review.
Buy recommendation? Only partly, if one is willing to take a closer auseinandeerzusetzen with the wrist strap and assembly.

Update August 2014: Now that I have found the correct loop length for me is the article now my constant companion - in addition to the original Nikon strap -
become. Really great, carry the camera and can operate. It makes sense to occasionally check and tighten the screw again. The 3-point-Besfestigung I have the certainty that can slip out of my hand the camera. That leaves me to enjoy the hobby even more and I can concentrate on the actual photographing. One star deduction for the factory to incorrect installation of the loops remains.
