The bulb works 1A and I never thought that it's so bright. Even if one looks purely, it hides a not because the lamp is like a crystal. However, I find the reactions to the music rather poor, since most do not even the clock is made. To slow songs that works indeed pretty good, but in the genre House / Electro the clock is no longer met. You also have to increase the volume a lot, so that the lamp ever responds. For comparison, if one directly in front of the lamp clapping as loud as you can catch them on to respond.
-> The lamp is definitely a mood-maker and good for small spaces as well as large spaces suitable.
