Lots of light and shadow

Primarily this camera is advertised for your watertight to 10 meters deep and because of their robustness. To test their water tightness, I once photographed about 10 minutes with her in the water, and let them once about 15 minutes at about 2 feet in the water. Both times they penetrated no water. As for their sturdiness, but left to be desired for me. So a number of small micro-scratches are formed on the display after each of the two water contacts, but they do not affect the display quality; and the OK lettering on the center button of the control ring goes from increasing.

So I did not have high expectations of the quality of the images due to the design of the camera from the beginning. And so the quality is also rather roughly on a par with a Samsung ES80, I tested about 3 years ago. Said at the time was about 80 euros. As the lens moves only inside the camera, I did not see no longer expected.

When you view the linked me size images, you will notice that the contours are often drawn not particularly clear. In particular faces fall - in some cases even very - roughly pixelated. Even at low ISO values ​​start at the pictures clearly rushing.

Once it is under water, the image quality increases but clearly.

Two quirks, I would like to mention.

The image quality in the automatic mode is greater than in the program mode. For anyone who seeks to prevent automatic programs otherwise fundamentally, this was a big surprise.
