The processing seems to be shipshape for a device in this price range also, the camera has a rubberized surface, so that she forgives also tough operating well without scratching directly.
The S30W has a very wide-angle lens of 150 °, the control buttons (on / off switch, wireless button, menu, timer, rocker switch for menu navigation and a back button) are very small, but can be easily operated.
The camera delivers maximum FullHD quality in .mov format and also with fast movements it keeps neatly with. It tolerates MiniSD cards up to a size of 32GB, which is more than enough even for long shooting movies.
Pure still images (resolution of 640 x 480px to 1024px x 4032 in .jpeg format) are of course also possible with the S30W, so for example, I put together a small time-lapse film of about 1000 individual photos.
It also has a collision sensor, can loop recordings, has installed a motion sensor, and has a face detection. This functionality is already very substantial for a device in this price league.
For smartphones with iOS or Android their own apps are available, which can be downloaded for free. About this Apps to access all functions of the cam drive, so it works very handy as a kind of remote release!
The waterproof shell keeps incidentally really completely sealed, took a shower, the camera, bathed and had a couple of times even in the rain in use.
My conclusion: For an absolute Schnappi Prize obtained a very good entry-level model with great features and plenty of accessories. The image quality is (assuming proper lighting!) Both in photos and in videos very well and the handling of the camera is working with some training from me also perfectly gets the S30W because of the excellent price / performance ratio, the perfect score!
