Except for one little thing there is to TP-Link Network Switch to say anything negative. A PC is not recognized by the switch. The corresponding LED on the switch was blinking on and there was no connection. The cause is probably the wiring for T568A between for two Cat6 connection boxes, where the PC and the switch are connected. Probably the Cat6 doses should have been wired to T568B. With a crossover cable instead of the standard network cable, the problem lies but solved without effort. Three other much more expensive switches, including 3Com and US Robotics, had no problem with the connection.
The best thing about the switch, however, is the low power consumption. If no PC is connected the meter displays a power of approximately 1 watt. If all 8 ports connected there are just 3.9 watts. Are switched from the 8 connected devices only five fuel consumption is reduced to approximately 3.1 watts. I'm going to yet another order and replace my 3Com switch, which converts only 5 ports nearly 20 watts into useless heat.
Data transfer is via the TP-Link as fast as on my other switches. Differences have not a declaration.
