LS 2013 worthy successor to FS 2011

Farming Simulator 2013 (computer game)

Customer Review

First Kudos to Amazon!
Did the game pre-ordered on 07 September and get 24 noon ... And plus a refund of 1.79, as the price has decreased.
Now to the game itself ...
As mentioned in the title, is the 2013 edition, he is a worthy successor to the very popular LS 2011th
I'll explain why I think that.
So, unpacked and installed game. Then the first "shock". Barely started, the game will update the same times. 41 MB. No Problem.
Run update and started.

First impression: The graphics has become massively more! The gameplay has not changed much, but improved. Here kudos to Giant Software:
There were incorporated many suggestions from the community in the new version.
For example, the devices are now available after saving and still continue playing on the vehicles (in advance via Auto-Attached Mod) and it is part of a first only one field, more must be bought (previously only via Mod feasible). While this makes it difficult to progress in the game, but increases the motivation and the long-term fun. Even now cost vehicles maintenance costs. Since Giant listened to the "simulation freaks".
Well, that there are software companies, where the opinion of the buyer is important!

There are also new features such as the Bank. As can "impatient" to borrow money to get ahead, at interest - understood.
You can now also grow sugar beet and potatoes, which only on mod maps was possible before. In addition, you can breed chickens and sheep, which completes the picture of the farm

A small disappointment is the car park. The packaging Giant promises more than 100 vehicles. I'm now not counted, but I mean that it is by far not 100 are. I hope it, the Giant also here to honor its announcement and more as DLC or AddOn provides.
In addition, animated car interiors were nice. Here the community has shown for FS 2011 what goes. Because, I've actually hoped for more. But since one can work on it for the 2014er Version ...

What they have but observed, is the reduction of hardware requirements.
I've previously played with LS2011 ProFarm1 AddOn. That left me with about 1.4 GB graphics RAM needed. LS 2013 needs max. 715 MB. And in much better optics. (Win7 x64, 8GB RAM, 3GHz Dual Core CPU, NVIDIA GTX 660TI. 1920x1024er resolution, filtering and antialiasing 8x, profile set to "high")

I play LS since 2009 and have to say that Giant has done his homework and consistently brought the best ever with LS LS 2013.
If you do consistently and provide more vehicles via download or addon, I am almost certain that is the success of the 2011 surpassed.

One more thing to the mods. There are now in the game menu a link to the mod downloads. I suppose the Giant wants in there provide "tested" mods and DLC's ...
I hope that they are consistently at the point and really examine the mods that have to get through this link, and then release it, so that such "mishaps" with incompatible mods or "mega-memory-guzzling mods" as in FS 2011 not happen ...

I have anyway (again) great fun at the new Agricultural Simulator. The, more than ever, this name deserves.
Clear recommendation for all fans and those who want to be there!
