Often came the criticism that the support is not stable enough. I drive no extreme mountain biking, but already on the ground (and also in the plane) and have been using the handlebar holder no problems. The Ixon keeps stable on the handlebars. I even had a bicycle accident recently - but the Ixon remained on the handlebar and has not even moved. Therefore, I can not understand the criticism of the bracket. Maybe they have these already improved.
For those who want to but play it safe: There are the Ixon (obviously more expensive) separately: lamp + extra battery pack. I've recently seen at a colleague on the wheel and could imagine that if the batteries are not mounted on the handlebars, but on the handlebar Saddle connecting rod and provide a cable that attached to the handlebar lamp with power that the issue of is verrutschenden handlebar mount low, because the weight of the Ixon mainly comes from the battery.
