It was intended to SSD MacBook Pro 2009. Can not format a USB cable: the SSD is not identified and therefore not mount on the desktop. It is therefore necessary to make a copy of the system with Carbon Copy Cloner on an external HDD then replace the SD MacBook by the Samsung SSD. Relight the alt key pressed Mac to boot from copying to external HD. Perform the formatting with the SSD disk utility that is recognized there. Restart alt key pressed and select the SSD. Copy the contents of the external HDD to SSD Mac with Carbon Copy Cloner. Do not forget to choose the SSD as the boot disk in System Preferences. Eject External HDD and restart to verify everything. So it took more time than I had imagined but it is achievable by a non-specialist. I note that the transition to SSD helped win a little time at the start and a lot of quiet operation.
