A technology freak, I'm really not, so I examined the Quick Start Guide a little skeptical, but was more than pleasantly surprised! After I loaded the keyboard, I activated my Tab the Bluetooth function. Immediately, the keyboard was displayed to me and I have coupled the two devices together. Without any difficulties or Holpereien the keyboard has been recognized and the mouse worked fine. After the OFN (Optical Finger Navigation) I touched sensor, me the usual mouse pointer was displayed and I was able to navigate on my screen. First, a little unusual, but then very quickly, I got along with this kind of operation.
The keyboard itself is extremely pleasant. The buttons can be pressed like butter, but have a pressure point with haptic feedback, to indicate that you pressed a letter. So unpleasant repeat letters can be avoided. The backlight is discreet, so they do not bother me, but enough to find easily, even in darkness or semi-darkness the keys. Despite the small size the Strike not only offers all the features that has a full-size keyboard, but also shines with little additional functions. Whether these are really needed, I do not know, but find it reassuring to know that I can do anything if I want it because. I find it a little hard to type with ten fingers. But it is when you get used to the small size.
Up to four device can be connected to the Mad Catz. Thanks to a key press is switched between the devices, which should also recognize the keyboard. Should therefore, as I have only one device that I can connect. So I can not confirm whether this toggle really works. I can confirm, however, that if the two device are once coupled, they resist connect anytime, without annoying readjustment.
Very pleasant I find the included carrying case, in which I can transport the small keyboard, without running the risk of scratching or damaging them unwillingly.
My Conclusion
A great addition to my tab! I am grateful for this alternative to touch finish!
