My request was that I wanted to have a reliable charger for charging my mainly Eneloops different type and capacity that can be operated even without doctor in elementary physics.
I really do not want to sit down with the store longer apart, because this is for me a commodity. The durability of the battery is indeed important to me (and of course, the idea of sustainability), but not as much as that of comfort should go completely lost. What is meant is mainly engaged in the batteries are charged the easy handling and the reasonable time and these points satisfies the AV4m excellent.
I have the choice ultimately on the AV4m and Technoline BC-1000 (not the 700 because of the higher charging current of the BC-1000 and thus reduced loading time) restricted and finally decided on the AV4m, mainly for the following reasons:
- Delta-Peak measurement coupled with temperature measurement, seemed to me to avoid after reading into the subject matter than the optimal variant to overcharge the batteries. The experts will forgive me my amateur view.
- Setting different charge / discharge currents through a simple mechanical switch in 3 stages (SML). I mostly use the M stage and could never experience substantial temperature increase.
- Easy operation of the functions of the device
The AV4m represents an ideal means of Ding (selbtwählbarem) akkuschonendem charging, uncomplicated operation and charging time for me.
A design is the beauty AV4m not (Note to manufacturer: There is also a designer in Italy, not only in Russia!), But in my view does just exactly what he is. Batteries (AA or AAA) in and load it. Once pressed the button Recyle and it discharges the batteries and loads it again. Recycling button pressed for longer and the battery will be refreshed, which may take longer. Shown on the display is the capacity of the batteries and the charging time einzelen sufficient. Assign the function every single shaft with a single function I have not yet used.
Often is Bekrittelt also this charger not illuminated display has. Personally, I do not need that, because I do not charge the batteries in complete darkness and also does not want to see every 5 minutes what about the charging process. So for me, not a criterion for someone with other requirements may have.
Something for improvement is perhaps the display. The symbolized in the display only gives information about whether just the battery discharges or loads, the symbol is graphically but no indication of which level is given the batteries. This point also falls under the category for me: I-look-after-hour-on-the-screen-if the batteries are charged-only again--.
From my perspective as an end user with a strong buy recommendation.
