On Windows 8.1, without installing the drivers, the PC immediately detects the dongle. A click on the Bluetooth logo leads into the PC Settings menu. Then click on the submenu and PC peripherals, and again on the Bluetooth menu. After the PC has detected the Bluetooth device, then just click on pair. I was able to enjoy my Bluetooth headset in just 2 minutes without any installation. Simply magical. On XP, the same magic does not operate and it will go through the installation of drivers long enough on my PC that starts dating. It is also the same on a laptop running on Windows 7.
Operating side, I did not notice any cuts while walking in a space of 5-6 meters. However, the past 10 meters, in the more remote parts, I got to small interruptions that stopped when I approached. Short, tight price dongle is the perfect companion to a PC to make and therefore compatible with Bluetooth headphones or a speaker.
Pros: - Works from XP to Windows 8.1 - Mini size
Cons: - Install necessary drivers on older versions of Windows
