I use the TV about 40% for games (console) 20% BD or HDD look 30% Amazon Instant / Netflix and 10% of "normal" TV look.
I receive via satellite (Astra 28.2 °) and digital cable. Before the station sorting it has been dreading me at first, but after a short familiarization with the Magic Remote, it's right out well (but not faster / slower than with a normal remote control).
For Magic Remote I have some advice - if you hold down (the selector wheel in the middle), the OK button, a pink dot will appear with which you can write on the screen:
- You can write a number and then call a program directly
- A horizontal line switches to the program last seen
- A V retrieves the latest programs
The 3D feature is great and I personally was surprised by the quality of 2D-3D conversion.
For the PVR function I use a 2.5 "hard drive nonpowered I have attached to the wall bracket and thus invisible hangs behind the TV.
+ Audio signals are also the look of an external hard drive to the optical output can be passed on and so tapped for the home theater system.
+ Image quality
+ Sound quality (even without home theater system - no comparison to my previous LCD, the subwoofer makes itself felt here)
+ Magic Remote (I do not want to miss)
- The PVR hard drive can not be read on a PC
- When the EPG English programs there is only Now and Next, a pretend in the basic settings that the device un UK is has it unfortunately changed nothing. The EPG standard is there, unfortunately another and the LG does not support this.
Timer programming via EPG fold well - only on BBC One, I had quite a few times, the problem has been completed in such a program the recording before the very end of the film. But with ITV and other English channels, it works without problems. In German broadcasters everything has always worked.
But a little nervous myself the releases - I think communications when a timer recording did not work would be better. If you were once on holiday and has previously launched a series recording is first time the mailbox full when you come back.
