Previously I had the APC BR800I. That was down to a very faint Trafoknistergeräusche in normal operation (but that was only audible in about 10cm distance) very quiet. Unfortunately, the past 2 years and 4 months so outlandish that the room fuse has cut the electricity.
The BR900I purchased as a replacement interferes in normal operation by a hum that also every few seconds short changes the tone. The UPS is louder than my performance computer and interferes as a silent fridge.
