The Mantona ball head has unfortunately only a 1/4 '' - disk. But by the 3/8 '' tripod connection I could make an old photo tripod again useful. The massive and well thought-out design of the ball head I can finally use a 2.5kg heavy telephoto sense. The additional, something hoe celled securing the quick release provides reliable protection against "losses" when heavy lenses. The cut-out for strong pitch is perfect and safe deformation. The entire ball head can be rotated on the threaded bolts of the lens. While it is probably not in the sense of the designers, but works very well. Who wants to have something solid for slow moving motifs and heavy lenses and heavy cameras, comes with this only about 30 euro expensive spherical head off well.
