Map is fine - Please SDHC compatibility eighth!

Dear buyers, please make the memory card purchase to the difference between SD and SDHC cards! Devices with SD slot are independent of the format (standard, mini, micro) not automatically SDHC compatible. "HC" stands for "High Capacity" and is a separate standard, which looks just as though the outside, but is just only recognized by SDHC host devices. Up to 2 GB cards are always SD cards from 8 GB SDHC card and getting cards with 4 GB with SD or SDHC cards available. However, SD devices recognize not every 4 GB SD card, because the older SD standard actually ends at 2 GB.

Some devices that detect innately only SD cards that can be sent by driver update "to learn" the new standard. As an example, the MDA / VPA / XDA smartphone series is called, which may partially be used with installed drivers SDHC cards. I take this 4GB card problems in my Sony Ericsson K850i.

Other devices such as memory card readers, however, are not helping updatable -Here, you want to use cards larger than 4 GB, only the new acquisition. I have set for clarification customer images with distinctive features.

The Sandisk cards are equipped with a five-year warranty period and also available as a "Multi SD Kit" along with adapters for miniSDHC and SDHC slots. Thus, the micro card is the most universal format, since it works in three different slots and is often offered even cheaper than the other formats. Disadvantages arise not when used in larger slots.
