I would like to say a few lines to the new adventures of Super Mario on Wii-U.
I can purchase the game by chance yesterday (11.26.13) already in the local MM (taken directly in the edition with "Cat fur" on the front of packaging and have it thus.

Due to various previews and impressions of various online magazines, I was very curious to see if Mario could actually justify the high expectations.

Short-order: It can!

Even after more than 30 years, the Italian plumber still perfectly show how a Jump'n look run. Colorful, detail-verbliebt and with easy but tough to meisterndem gameplay.

I am currently in World 4, and play along with my wife. A 4-player game will follow tomorrow night.
The game is implemented technically very clean. Despite some very nice graphics (eg the boss in the world 1) the game is running very round and smooth.)
Bugs or other technical annoyances are not available (a good sign is it almost always is when the press the game can do better testing before release -. Compared to X-Rebirth, which is not running without Day-1 Patch)

In Super Mario 3D World single level of a world such as from the New Super Mario series known world map can be selected. Once the objective of or the way is cleared for the next level. Apropo "Search": Long Sucherei is also prevented konzequent of Super Mario 3D World by a (sometimes) quite crisp timeout. At certain points of the game, we have already died by unnoticed Elapsed clock ...

Issue new costumes and abilities:

Generally, you have to admit (at least I feel so) that Nintendo has in the development of 3D World many, many ingredients of past Mario together parts and rotated once through the mincer. Many aspects are known from old mario parts, but so were never used together. This already creates a fairly own game impression, however, remains a slight, stale aftertaste because real innovations are sown rar.

Some Examples?

1.) 4 Different game characters with different abilities:

Mario -> all-rounder
Luigi -> Sringt higher for unkontrolierter and needs some "leakage"
Peach -> Can hover briefly in the air
Toad -> is the fastest of all play figures

This system is already known from the old Super Mario Bros. 2 1988!

2.) Raccoon Costume

Known from Super Mario Bros. 3, but "weakened" in 3D World -> No more flying

3.) World Map

Strongly reminiscent of the world maps from NSMB, or even to the old Super Mario World. However, this was there much more complex, riddled with secret passages and hidden bonuses more.

Innovations such as the cat costume represent a very delicate evolution Marios, without changing the gameplay too much or mitigate (not up to the "super-costume" which is available from of frequent loss of life. So the game is a journey, for me, however, relevant, but rather for very young players or absolute casual gamers)

Although this is more negative reading - you have a Nintendo concede. The new mixture works and makes a lot of things right and very little wrong.
Somewhat unhappy I find the example a Tastbelegung (Y) with which the player character starts running or another player also lifts.
It is always dangerous in multi-player on narrow platforms, if someone now presses Y. I am already several times been killed since my wife I inadvertently threw a Platform (fortunately only in the game xD).

I have to say that to me Super Mario 3D World so far very well like. Flat Story, or smaller level than in Galaxy toward doer ago. You have to accept that 3D World "different" works like all previous stationary Mario games. But First things come is that it works. And it does, in my opinion (especially in the local multiplayer) very well.

So full 5 stars!

I'm curious to see how the holiday shopping season is now affecting with this title, the Wii-U. The next-gen consoles from Sony and MS are available, however, show far more Maue launch titles. I think that Super Mario 3D World is a say in some sense about the future of Nintendo's Wii U.

Thus, so can some "savior" function quite speculate

Addendum on 14:12:13:
We have not yet fully come through Mario 3D World. We are currently in the world. 7
The degree of difficulty rises tangibly, although the game is always fair and schaffbar. However, frustration points are a few available.

A 2nd game (where I really collecting all the stars and stamp), I started as a single player and am in the world. 4

The game gives me / us and made a lot of fun and the 5 * stay, TOP!

Second Supplement dated 11.1.14:

The "main plot" by Mario 3D World, we have put behind us. Bowser is (once again) defeated. The finale is already staged pretty cool =)
There are 2 "bonus" worlds, where the difficulty lies here already quite high. Likewise, there is a more fluctuating difficulty, as in the regular worlds.

The game has very well maintained and is still angeschmissen for local multiplayer.
