So I was looking for a car holder (judge) system for the RAZR I, which I do not attach to the windscreen or on the grating.
I was tired of having to clean the disc before starting to create ideal conditions for the suction of disc holders - just to avoid that the holder falls from the disc, and quite expensive phone is damaged in this case.
That's why I bought the gooseneck holder of judges (), which is screwed usually somewhere on the side of the dashboard (or on the shift tunnel).
After Judge (still) is no specific phone holder for the RAZR I, I decided to quite a long search for the "Mini Smart Gripper 3 Universal". This has very narrow retaining claws that do not cover the side angeorneten function keys and the charging jack on the phone (see photos). In addition, the claws is not centered (symmetric) are arranged on the holder, so that they clamp according to rotation of the grippers 180 ° phone laterally at a different location. Really well thought out!
The clamping of the phone even works with previously inserted Micro-USB charging cable. An additional click-fix adapter is not necessary
The reasons for the decision in favor of the combination Mini-Gripper with gooseneck were:
- Affordable and stable solution (about 17, -) compared to 40, - for the original holder
- Thanks to its adjustable claw universally applicable, also for other phones
- Narrow retaining claws, all side buttons and micro USB socket on the RAZR I exposed
- No disc or air vent mount
- No restriction of vehicle heating (winter) and air conditioning (summer) by versperrete vents
- No additional heating Duch heater (from vent) of at vehicle power and NAVI function already quite warm expectant smartphones
On the other hand are:
- Fixed installation of the gooseneck by bolts on the vehicle.
But since I have a fairly universal solution to the holder, this point is of no consequence to me.
For those who do not want to opt for a fixed installation or can, there still remains the possibility of mounting on the grating or on the disk. The Gripper at any Richter bracket.
