Match notebooks Sigel / Leitz = equality, better value Hours of Operation: Moleskine, but for each different usages.

It has become the rage of books classy note with Moleskine as a pioneer, and all the clones that followed, including Quo vadis home. Among the clones, there are Germans in recent years, new entrants to the French paper, such as Leitz German specialist rigid black book, and therefore Sigel. I tried everything: Moleskine (ouch the price!), Quo vadis (very good but the bastard formats or A4 or A5, and no grid), Leitz (I have one right now), so it large A4 Sigel.
Suffice to say that Leitz - Sigel same. Same type of paper well programmed, smooth writing, even gridlines, even gusseted pouch handy even ring pen holder, even very elastic as practical to hold the closed book ... Fewer gadgets was in the Sigel in the Leitz (no small post-it, not printed on the wafer rule) but this numbering, that Sigel is the only to offer is really great for notebooks that reach 200 pages (neither Moleskine or Quo Vadis Nor shall number).
For cons, the big flaw Sigel coverage striped black rubber certainly upscale but scratches horribly fast. A nail hit, and bam, it's a beautiful stripe impossible to remove. So when the car keys rub against the notebook, it quickly becomes very ugly. The Leitz, with its cover Moleskine copied, that is to say, a vulgar way cardboard coated leather, is certainly less modern, less design, but forgive much abuse in a bag.
In short, to take notes with a tidy briefcase when one is careful = Sigel.
To take notes when using a tote, sliding the notebook in the bag with the keys = Leitz.
If weight is a major challenge = turn to the softcover Moleskine.
If you want colors that flash, different coverages = Moleskine (uni, the whole range of the rainbow in the sky) and Quo Vadis.
All have papers that are equal, to wonder whether this is not the same supplier for everyone, so it's just a difference of lineage and between each brand look that will guide the choice.
