Maul studio - good illumination

Said lamp is fully lives up to its name and lit a job good. The three T5-14W fluorescent tubes with specified 6400K generate thanks to electronic control gear a quiet, sufficiently bright, albeit slightly pale light that particularly suppressed lateral shadows. The umbra of a finger tip is generated only at about 1cm, so you can work very close with no shading on the object. For this, however, the light should not be too far from the surface, which is defined by the lever mechanism quite precisely and smoothly adjustable. The lamp head is adjustable in three axes in addition, and by the adjustment arms on average can read or work tables are very well lit brightly about the fulcrum around any point within a radius of 1m.

As sole light in a room, they will not be enough (also due to the directional illumination) from a certain ambient brightness should be present ("room light" is also not the primary use). If you want to improve it a little bit, can with branded fluorescent (eg 840 or 865er) improve the color fidelity for a few euros by mail order and yet teased out a few lumens in addition, but that is already a luxury for the eye. Really necessary is not that the fluorescent tubes contained are not so bad.

Conclusion: For the price you get in my opinion no better other light of this kind, I am very satisfied.
