Optically, nothing wrong, the filter is excellent. It is also very end (at the metal ring), as usual in the range of Pro1D Hoya, to prevent vignetting. However, it is not always necessary to take such a fine filter if your goal is not "limit" on that side. The contour of the metal ring is "notched" on a large part of its perimeter, which greatly facilitates the screwing / unscrewing (handy in case of regular substitutions for a polarizing filter, for example). For those who keep their filters in original boxes, it is not the type to save you instead: although relatively thin, it is wider than necessary (same size as for filtes 72mm).
A view at the filter of aging for this range Pro1D, obviously, but the sustainability of Pro1 (I own that are still in perfect condition after a dozen years) seems to augur well for the Pro1D.
Contrary to what I've read, no worries to clean the filter.
A good protective filter, but nothing particularly spectacular justifying the fifth star.
