Kit of 2 adapters Netgear XAVB2501 PLC was installed in less than 5 minutes: An adapter is connected to my Box (Livebox Orange 2) and the other to my hard drive Multimedia (Hyundai HMB) itself connected to my TV screen LCD. They are separated by 8 m and connected to two different power grids.

The hard drive was immediately recognized on my local network. The trade is with a very satisfactory rate. The power saving mode is a multimedia aprciable when DD is off.

Netgear Powerline adapters are consistent with advice and tests (the Digital, Micro Hebdo) and are among the best in their class (CPL 200 Mbps).

Note that unlike the competitors, the Ethernet connector is towards the top (down among competitors) which allows easier access, especially for electrical outlets close to the ground.

Also the future is preserved as they are compatible with the new PLC adapters Netgear 500 Mbps.

In conclusion, I am very satisfied and I recommend this kit to buy CPL eyes closed !!!
