Since the faulty Windows 95 (there were 1996 thousands versions circulating the functional were not) I caught no worse than product OKI MB290. It works really nothing! I have the device simply bought only for its copy function and PDF-to-USB. As a copier, the device is not good because 3 fail of 5 jobs to the paper jam. Ok, we are an advertising agency and have very many grades of paper at hand. Nope - Oki does not even come with 19 Euro paper clearly. PDF-to-USB? It worked twice, and 20 times not. Once I have an 8GB USB flash drive plugged in (half full), and the next day the Oki was still on USB media exam. Yesterday I wanted to set the thing as a fax, that is, I had to install the software. As soon as you click the setup.exe is a bad: The Installaton looks like in the 90's: Wild Window build on itself, one understands nothing and at the end of anything is installed, what is not working. No problem, I thought, uninstall, reboot and a new one. I thought. The software can no longer take off - "Remove Software" neither the CD nor on the uninstall feature of the program or from Control Panel. Reveals accessed by the IP address of the device some (they have to look at that!): A configuration page that runs only under Internet Explorer version 4 looks to us as if they came from the days of Windows ME (!). Extremely embarrassing, ladies and gentlemen, by OKI! The ease of use is its climax on the control system of the multifunction printer: There are on the device at least 3 (different) buttons for confirming an action in the setting of the unit (Enter, green and "OK"). A Joke. Buy a scanner and a fax software (if you have yet to do with lawyers and accountants), otherwise the times of multifunction printers are over. Not even the manufacturer take care of such devices more.
