Positives:
- Sophisticated software without crashes (do not laugh, that's no longer a matter of course, see my review for Philips 32PFL5507k)
- Response times not fast, but acceptable
- Good support from my external keyboard (KeySonic KSK-3201 RF): highly recommended; This has given me a lot of time is at the station sorting that hiding something from the menu, saves and, significantly facilitates the entry of the wireless key that for me has more than 30 characters. During operation, it is also good usable only is the keyboard layout a bit strange: F9 is quieter, F10 louder, F11 a channel underneath, F12 a channel on, Windows key: menu. In the SMART Apps it is, especially when the browser, almost indispensable.
- Hidden away in the menu, but available: Automatic Aspect ratio 16: 9 to 4: 3, ie the old 4: 3 movies (such as old Simpson episodes.) Also correctly, ie with black bars left and right, represented without becoming "Quetschköpfen" bawled and pulled apart.
- Teletext has the standard functions (eg transparent with picture in the background.)
Negatives:
- No analog audio output! Ie you can not sense his stereo plug (I have a Yamaha AX-1070, the connoisseurs know what I'm talking about). Although a jack to RCA plug would function from the headphone output, however, is impractical since then automatically the speakers are disconnected when Samsung. But I want to occasionally (whichever is running) times the speakers from the TV, sometimes use the stereo, without always having to behind the TV and pull out jack. Now as an alternative, I use the audio output from the SCART, which is after all switched, but the Philips 32PFL5507k this was better because you might fix the headphone output completely separate from the speakers. In the optical output you would need an expensive converter, which is expensive. Completely incomprehensible why the manufacturers save a normal line-out!
- Active Shutter 3D with all its disadvantages (and hardly benefits): expensive, incompatible glasses, viewing angle-dependent image flickering, etc ... If you want to watch 3D-intensive, should better buy polarization (eg LG, which are as a leader. )
- In 32 "is not a single 3D glasses supplied from 40" there are at least two. One should note before buying.
- Sound is not very good. Annoying especially the typical "show-off behavior": at the bottom of the volume control the volume increases very rapidly (ie nciht very finely dosed), while then end up running out of steam. Logically, it would be the other way around.
- It could be quiet even more apps
