Of the 4 GB of memory, 2 GB are almost occupied by the system, so I bought an SD card that will prove useless.
Indeed, the remaining 2 GB are very, but then quickly fill up. Facebook, email, stored messages, photos, applications and so on.
"And then the SD card, it serves to anything!" will you tell me. This is where the rub ...
One can imagine, the Facebook data, such as mail messages (SMS) are stored on the phone. Applications can be downloaded on the other hand from the computer and transferred to the phone to relieve the phone memory, however, during the installation, the phone memory is still used. In use, it is the memory of the phone that is also used to save any data created by the application.
Let the pictures! While they may be stored on the SD card, if you just want to download the cloud (skydrive) is again the phone memory which is put to use.
Specifically, we try to scrounge up to a maximum of right to left and it gives this:
- I have to delete all my sms every 2 weeks about
- I Reduce the amount of visible mail => I have access only mail the last 3 days
- I have to delete all my photos that are shared on skydrive
- I empty my cache and history BING searches internet explorer every 2-3 days
- I have NO music and video on my phone
- I install the least possible apps
Despite this, my phone reminds me quite regularly (every two days actually) the available memory on the phone is low.
In summary, Windows Phone 8, it is, but it is probably more on a phone other than the HTC 8S, which I have to use 10% of its potential (in theory).
HTC, of who are we kidding?
