The inset floor makes a stable impression and is not bad for an under-floor heating, as the lying area is under-ventilated, and, secondly, the lying surface is slightly higher for a good overview of your dog. So in one sentence: Our dog (Great Labrador) feels a fiddle - highly recommended.
Addendum dated November 1, 2013: So our dog still feels very comfortable in his basket, jumping after returning home always happy in his "bed" or watching us with her head on the edge Kuschel.
