Completely unjustly as "woman Whisky" bepöbelt me the Auchentoshan 12Y has fully convinced, despite my preference for earthy-smoky Tröpchen: The noble Lowlander shows that delicious does not have to be expensive (have the bottle for 27 bought 0.7). Ungetorftes malt and storage in sherry casks are likely to be responsible for its sweet gentleness. What awaits the drinker (highly subjective): A smell dominated by mandarin orange and hints of vanilla and caramel, which zumnächst palate confirmed. The back is a less sweet, mild-strong, slightly nutty flavor that is surprisingly strong and dry developing. With a few drops of water can be the fruit and light oak notes a bit to work out fine.
For me, the tip for those who like it strong but mild.
