Yes, I know my title is trivial but actually, I wanted to express here the surprise I had when I received my "Mini" Vicks Ultrasonic Humidifier. He has the name of mini or so, I can not imagine the size of the larger models. This is an asset. Cheaper than most market humidifiers, it has a large capacity and allows it to operate all evening and all night without a problem. At home, electric heating is very drying. It was not uncommon when we turned on the heater for the night, to wake up with dry mucous membranes and this situation is not acceptable for an infant. Our daughter had her nights when we put this unit depending as it allowed him not to have little nocturnal thirst and therefore to have a quality of sleep for 12 consecutive times, and right from the 3 half months. We have not used the opportunity to put small Vicks cartridges for cases of nasal congestion, because essential oils are not recommended for children under 6 months. But we do not deprive us to try as soon as the opportunity arises. In short: a device that performs its function very well, the cold mist is reassuring because we do not risk burning us with steam and the size of this "mini" humidifier is large enough for a fairly prolonged use (often more than 12pm because we let run in the evening before going to bed to "prepare" the room).
