I use the case with a SSD drive, USB3. The installation of the drive is simple, and the performance is good. The blue light / red is practical. But the biggest problem is the mini-USB3 connector side housing. It is not at all reliable, the slightest movement of the cable causes the disconnection of the drive. We then see the indicator move from blue to red.
24/12/2012 I bought another box (Enermax) that does not have this problem. In fact IcyBox problem seems to come from his USB3 cable, specifically the cable mini USB plug that box side branch. The cable supplied with the Enermax is much better plugs into the IcyBox as originally delivered, there is more freedom of vertical angle.
