Miracle melancholy song

This disc is for 20 years one of the most dear to my heart. At 67, Ernst Haefliger, who was a devotee of Ferenc Fricsay and best evangelist of his generation, returns to the fortepiano Schubert accompanied by Jörg Ewald Dähler. The voice is slightly warped, worn by years. It is all the more beautiful and heartbreaking. From a total recount, a haunting interior, it comprises 23 Lieder recital in depth key immediately. Just listen to the first words of the first Lied (Die Götter Griechenlands): "Schöne Welt, wo bist du?": "? Beautiful world, where art thou" And the infinity of nostalgic desire seizes the listener.
