I decided to buy this cable, because it says in the product description "without loss of performance for your USB devices." However, the power loss is unfortunately so great that the use with my UMTS stick (XS Stick P14) is not possible since the device is detected times not at all times and only with errors. If you connect an external fan via this cable, it is found in comparison with the direct connection that this clearly audible has a lower speed. Instead of using the UMTS stick I now use this cable for a USB camera. This works with the cable properly.
