My latest smartphones were the Galaxy S2 and the Note 1 and 2, so all smartphones with very large displays.
The LG F5 is like any other smartphone in a simple, small packaging. The contents also no different
other smartphones. Charger, headphones, battery, and the device itself.
When it unpacks and holding in his hand, unfortunately, I missed the excitement effect, since the LG lschlicht and like almost every other mobile phone is designed.
This really is a pity that only a few manufacturers would market by other manufacturers.
Well done, however, I find the design of the battery cover, which has a kind of Carbon Design, but annoying fingerprints are permanently visible.
The display I personally, although too small (purely subjective assessment as Note 2 owners), but it is crisp and displays beautiful colors because you really can not complain.
The Android menu is similar as with Samsung Android Phones. I find it very well laid out with beautiful and clear symbols as well as ease of use. Toll I find the many small apps like backup
Manager or a translator. This saves additional programs.
The Quick Access Toolbar (downward wipe) is super resolved because virtually all major functions are listed.
Well done the SmartShare is possible. It offers true multitasking, for example, surfing and take notes at the same time. The function is of course due to the limited screen size.
The voice quality I feel also as flawlessly without annoying interference or the like.
Here again a positive and negative list in bullet points.
Positives:
Battery life of 2 days since 2150mAh battery
LTE (untested since no LTE contract)
NFC
Memory expansion via Micro SD
great, sharp display
Negatives:
No Notification LED
No flash LED
Display too small (purely subjective sensation)
For me, a nice mid-range smartphone, but which can not inspire me completely, as that certain something missing and for the price is simply too high initially.
A Samsung S3 is already possible for the initial price at the beginning of "Rezi" said ...
