+ Self Test LED indicator (only all red, then green, then all off)
+ Reliable delta V cut-off for each shaft separately
Load + while cells further may plugged, loaded cells were removed and new ones added
+ Charging current of 75mA seems to be a fairly good compromise
+ Cells are neither too hot, nor does it take to charge unnecessarily long
+ Good fit of the battery in the button connections (keep even upside down)
+ Intuitive feedback on two-color LEDs
+ Solid, compact power adapter
+ Chic, functional and above all very compact design with no frills
Negatives:
- Extremely tiny manual
- Difficult to open blister pack
In total, more than one would expect from such a compact charger. And she invites thanks to modern electronic charging both two pretty old 8.4V battery of Ansmann with time almost unbeatable in conventional 250mAh NiMH technology, as well as the hotel's own 9.6 V blocks in modern technology with more typical long battery charge retention and just in any mixtures at the same time. Even switching off at the end of charging is done reliably. You put eg freshly charged batteries, so although the charge is started, then ends but relatively quickly. Not a good idea to load full battery but I wanted to know just before I entrust the cute part batteries overnight for charging.
Plenty of time for testing, I had not, but the old batteries had lost significantly more cargo, loaded relatively quickly, while only a little more than lukewarm. So if overnight load multiple batteries can, they can relatively safely entrust this charger, because it really is more to it than just a primitive aperture priority mode, which is more than you'd expect for the price.
Only the tiny manual (only in English!) And the blister hard to open were open to criticism. Points I wanted it not deduct. The feedback via LED color changes are intuitive enough to get along even without a manual (red = charging, green = ready, red flashing = short-circuit, or reverse polarity) and the packaging - the now - if you get the part free of it once, you forget this nuisance again quickly, but blister see just only in the shop well. Other manufacturers are showing some already, for example, how to avoid with plastic wrap boxes frustration without sacrificing the product presentation. So it would be different.
