The plot revolves around the student Ariel, which coincidentally arises the very rare and supposedly cursed book "The End of Mr. Y" in a secondhand bookstore. Soon she begins to recognize relationships between the disappearance of their professor and the book, as well as the reality and thoughts. But it do to unexpected challenges and hazards that must be mastered by it.
The story is written in a sophisticated but liquid-to-read English and attracts one of the very first minute the spell. The often occurring small scientific digressions and thought experiments, are very comprehensive and well understand. In the plot arise again many well-made surprises and twists that are difficult to predict.
Therefore, I recommend all the books like the "Otherland" series or movies like "Matrix" like this book. Since this is in "The End of Mr. Y" in my opinion, one of the best "modern fantasy" books is that I've read. Therefore I forgive 5 stars.
