On the G6 I was very happy. If you read the technical data and what they can, you would have to loose give 7 stars. However, the image quality for me is the A and O. And since the G6 has brought me almost to the brink of despair. I had the G6 ordered with the 14-140 II. There were pictures that were 1A, there was nothing in it to criticize. And then there were photos that seemed somehow out of focus. And even during normal viewing. You looked at the screen at 100%, it had become clear that the pictures looked somehow slightly blurred. But that could not be of the settings here. If a focal length selected by eg 50 mm, the exposure time amounted to at least 1/50 s. So further research: To make a long story short, as soon as photos between 1/30 and 1/250 were made (whether manual or automatic mode), this looked shaky. So much so that it is incident on the first glance. Now you might say, a Monday model. Or am I doing something wrong? So just googled. If one looks for "G6 shutter shock", you will be supplied with numerous clues that suggest that the release of the G6 to a vibration in the camera inside leads (!), Which has the blur result. Particularly in the G6 / 14-140er combi Naton, and at certain times of exposure. So it was with me: my combination G6 - 14-140 II had at certain exposure times an evil problem. The fact that it really seems to be due to the G6 and the shutter Shock (and not, for example, on the lens), shown by the fact that the blur disappear (with my camera), as soon as one switches to the electronic shutter. Then all the pictures are sharp crack. Unfortunately, the electronic shutter is not suitable for "fast motives" (there is distortion). Conclusion: 800 euros to have to live with such quirks? For this I was not prepared. One can only be glad that Amazon is so accommodating and takes back everything. Otherwise I would now put 800 euros in the sand, because Panasonic seems to the problem - at least you read this in the WWW - currently have no solution.
