Customer Review

This is the soundtrack to "Rambo 2", a mercenary and action film from 1985. The Ramo movies, just like the "Rocky series" made history and was a pioneer in a lot of movies that tried to copy exactly this style. The emphasis is on "tried"! That most of what "free riders" tried to Sylvester Stallone to attach success to latch or copy went wrong. Except for a few exceptions, a lot of scrap, dull, brutal and exhausting. OK, especially sozialkritisch Stallone's films were never really so, B-Movies upscale. Not for moralists, pacifists or friends of sophisticated culture in the movie. But first-rate action movies had the one thing that a lot of movies, especially the imitators had hardly ever ........ high quality original soundtrack! Film music that was undressing the drama, the Spirit of a scene, the dynamics of the action with melodic sounds and amplified, literally spread stressed and the film thus conferred an inimitable atmosphere. The composer of the Rambo series was Jerry Goldsmith and his scores for the films made history. Both the music of the Rocky series and parts of Rambo ran then amplified in the studios for body-building and martial arts. And certainly not without reason.
No listener for any charts are soundtracks usually nothing. The music of the Rocky movies are most likely. There were a lot of bands and orchestras the coverten the Rocky melody. One must know what Jerry Goldsmith for Stallone because actually set to music in order to understand that.
Although really a capable actor, Stallone convinced mainly by physical presence, emotion expressed by furious action of a physical representation. Words could very well use Stallone, in the Rambo movies but his rhetoric was short, just, very concise and always had something epic in the expression which he underlined physically.
As Rambo Stallone could be unlikely expressive when he accepted only a certain attitude. It was the way he looked, as he reached for a deadly high-arc before he stressed this. The way he harnessed him, an arrow shot down as he struggled, as he fired firearms, as he expressed pain or exhaustion, as he emphasized his physique and fitness. He had other real (combat) athletes certainly more than paving the way into the film-Buisiness. Even if Stallone as John Rambo fled, especially here in Rambo 2, before a superior force, then that was something incredibly heroic. It also Stallone's muscles must be complied with. This was not just a man who frightened ran away ..... it was Rambo, who himself as Fleeing his enemies made her look old and just ran away to get into an advantageous position!
And here Jerry Goldsmith came into play with its 1a soundtrack. He gave the events with his music the acoustic garb, umwob it so. Another name for movie Music / soundtrack in English is: "The Wings of a movie!" The wings of a film, so the mood of what we see there, hawked in incredible heights. Jerry Goldsmith since had a special kind of melody in the Rambo movies. The music was characterized by a particular expression of trumpets and horns in conjunction with a very special use of percussions from. The mood of a scene, a moment of the action of the film, a fast-paced action sequence, and even just a facial expression got by an incredible intensity. The soundtrack certainly contributed to the film's success. That's what had other films that would tie thereto not considered. Their soundtrack was often absolutely nothing. Because so brutal and morally questionable the Rambo movies may be, the film music is intense, intoxicating, but noisy with all the epic also, melodic and beautiful. The score here to Rambo 2 may provide the melody ago not much new to Part 1, the other type of setting but is awesome. Make times more on the soundtrack, if you watch the movie again. I think many will agree with me then. The soundtrack to Rambo 3 was then also a hit. The special feature here at Rambo 2 are incorporated Asian sounds, they give a familiar melody a whole new effect. The score for Rambo 2 is just awesome. Full marks from my side and a clear recommendation for fans. Those who do not yet know, just once listen at Amazon or Youtube.
