More difficult than I thought

After I've read some English books, I did not dream of it, that I would need for this my dictionary (or the Internet translators). But it was so !!! Similar to colleague Jane Austen Georgette Heyer throw with not so common adjectives all over the place. It reads fast, but if you simply read unknown words, really miss a lot when describing characters and the prevailing circumstances. So, you better be making the effort. Funny, I found the many colloquial expressions that probably "old fashioned" are really, because I have not found partly in translator - however one can easily piece together themselves.

Short to book in German: Frederica is the oldest of 5 siblings who has taken their place in the education and care of their siblings after her mother's death. She is an intelligent person with good nerves and a lot of common sense, which has even led the parental right, as his father was ill. Her younger sister is a great beauty - but a silly goose. Frederica, which looks even acceptable, but is not keen on the marriage would, like to know the sister married comfortable and therefore comes with it, an old aunt and her two youngest brothers for a season to London. There, they tried using a distant cousin of high rank introduce her sister in society, to enable her a good match. The cousin agrees and soon against his will does more for Frederica and her siblings, as he would like. All that is really easy to knit and quite predictable. However, the book is written so amusing and the dialogues are so funny that you always auflacht involuntarily aloud. In any case, a reading that matches the mood and provides many hours of pleasure - if you like novels like this because at the end everything comes, as it must. It's just a love story. Nevertheless - who loves Austen, Heyer is determined also like.
