my interest lay on a screen which is somewhat eye safe and 144hz creates because I spend a lot of time on the PC, mainly through gamble or program, but of course also surf the Internet or other office tasks.
So I once made a lot of money in the hand around my eyes (and secretly hoping also my performance in games) to do something good and the XL2430T allowed myself (seen for me as a student).
Here short and sweet my observations:
Positives:
+ Super processing! Matt-black frame and feet, super noble look, I like very much!
+ Has a nice stable!
+ 144hz are really great! (Previously had a 60Hz monitor) is definitely something else!
Negatives:
- The BenQ Black Equalizer unfortunately in CS: GO (Counter-Strike: Global Offensive) if you head a Flashbang conceded when the effect ends (and you slowly can see) gives away a pesky bug, then the picture flickers namely comic in shades of gray back and forth. (Have to also found a forum post, I'm probably not alone, the only fix. Exhibiting is a pity that already was actually quite handy)
- TN panel the colors are conditioned not the hammer, but you should already know beforehand.
- The color default is short-term, spontaneous blindness with the package, too bright (for my taste, but I do not think that can be healthy)
- The provided software "Display Pilot" is unfortunately slow as hell. Unfortunately I do not know what's exactly is taking so long, but between the individual actions goes always half an eternity. Did my attitude then made directly on the physical buttons.
All in all I found the screen good, but because of all the "bells and whistles" drumrum not (particularly) has worked and therefore does not remain in use (for me), I find the high price (compared to 24 "144hz competitive products) unjustified and had sent the screen back and going to buy myself a cheaper alternative that even perhaps more 3D-capable.
