The illumination of the screen is in fact not completely uniform, which I take but in normal operation not true. One sees it anyway, when the screen is completely empty. I have an iPad Air for comparison beside held: Slight advantages for the larger device! (With reds) So if you want have it even more perfect, then just have to pick up the Air. I can in any case with the in my opinion very good reproduction qualities of the iPad Mini 2 live well.
The stronger processor is also a step forward: The Mini responds much faster and more accurately. Nothing jerky. The unit came with IOS 7.02. With this operating system put the Safari browser back every now and then crashes, now I've upgraded to 7:03. The disturbances seem to have disappeared. The battery lasts a long time wonderful, drawbacks compared with the first model - ie shorter maturities - do I still not known. Somewhat surprised I was about the thick, somewhat outdated charger model that is the iPad Mini Retina settled. It could be partly responsible for the thicker packing. Conclusion: worth the upgrade. The Retina display makes a top figure and provides a significant added value in the new model. The iPad Mini has a nearly 8-inch Touch Screen.
