The price is really ok, but we must not expect too much. Statements herein that be the part at 150mm "rattenscharf", are wishful thinking. Also Olympus must bow to the laws of optics priced feasible here. The quality of the photos in the lower midfield moves even with the smaller focal lengths. Admittedly, I set high standards; Olympus has also met earlier. And f5.6 - this is just "dark". To be precise, you need 8 times higher ISO as the Olympus 150mm / f2, which is of course more expensive. So instead of the usual ISO 200 already ISO 1600, what the dynamics and the noise performance limits already sensitive.
The results are, however, acceptable. must complain to the low light intensity. Compared to an FT 50-200 / f2,8-3,5 this lens is significantly worse in terms of sharpness and exemption. After all, it is not soggy, but a "natural" focus is different. Who was 40-150mm satisfied with the FT, however, it will be here also.
