One thing first: The basic idea behind this support is great. For smaller smartphones like the HTC Desire the concept works well. With smartphones like the Galaxy S3, the leverage is so great that the bracket, the device can no longer hold at press functions in the peripheral region of the display by the enormous size. It does not fall here while out of the holder, but shifts it enormously backward.
The main weakness is in this bracket, however, the ball joint. Even fully dressed can still easily rotate the clip. Excessive vibration of the display and unintentional lowering are preprogrammed thereby.
All in all: Good thinking was unfortunately poorly implemented.
