It's been five months since I use (my baby 7 months) and I sleep soundly on REALLY! I'm not worried, I know that baby sleeps and has no problem. This device is great and saves me much anxiety. I would absolutely recommend it to all concerned parents. For sensitivity I set to maximum (5) because sometimes it sounded when baby was not right above the plate.
